Indian Creek Watershed Association (ICWA) invites submissions of photographs for its 2015 calendar. As in the past, ICWA’s goal is to reflect all of Monroe County with images from all seasons and all corners of the county.
This year, the theme focuses on “Using Monroe County Waters.” Photographs of wildlife in or near the water; fish or other water critters; boating, fishing or water-related structures (docks, dams, mills)—all would be welcome. (Horizontal shots are preferred for the calendar format, or a vertical shot that can be cropped horizontally.) Community members of all ages are invited to participate, and you can submit more than one entry. Everyone who submits an entry will receive a free Indian Creek Watershed Association 2015 calendar.
Deadline for entries: Monday, December 1. The photo must have been taken within Monroe County and be an original by the contributor, except in the case of historical photos. Entries should be mailed to Indian Creek Watershed Association, PO Box 711, Union, WV 24983; dropped off at the Monroe County Public Library in Union, attn. Paulette Kirby; or emailed to info@indiancreekwatershedassociation.org.
Be sure to include your name and phone number and email (if available), plus the location of your picture. For more information, call Paulette Kirby, 304-772-3038.
